We’re almost done with 2009 and our list of top 10 tracks by each of the projects in the Discotexas collective. To wrap things up, we have Gun N Rose’s top 10 tracks of the year. It’s cold, rainy and Xmas outside, so we thought it might be a good idea to give you another installment of our top tracks of 2009 series. Cpt. Luvlace is not only the master dj technician of the Discotexas gang, he’s also working on tracks to start his production career with a bang. Below, his top 10 (actually 10, too!) tracks of 2009! Oh, and to top off his list, he’s added comments for each track.

1) James Braun – Spanish Fly – what can i say, its a kind of guilty pleasure makes me wanna learn Flamengo like that dude that banged Noami Campbell
2) Gucci Vump – Sha! Shtil! (L-Vis 1990 remix) – The vocals kill me, the rest is just ok
3) Passion Pit – The Reeling (Calvin Harris remix) – Every time i play this track i get laid
4) Crystal Fighters – Xtatic Truth (Renaissance Man remix) – deconstruction at its best. Teki and Orgasmic: thank you for having the brilliant idea of making Sound Pellegrino
