The amazing DTTT (Discotexas Titan Thursdays) events at Lux Frágil have come to an end. For more than one year, we had the pleasure of hosting artists like Fred Falke, Les Petits Pilous, Carte Blanche, The Subs, In Flagranti, Shadow Dancer, Breakbot, A-Track, Zombie Nation, Alex Gopher, Ben Mono, Alan Braxe, The Glimmers, etc., etc.

This last event was a special and familiar one: we had Moullinex in a concert (with Bruno Cardoso aka Xinobi at the guitar) and an it’s-been-months-since-we’ve-all-met-at-a-dj-booth dj set by all the members of our crew – Bandido$, Xinobi, Moullinex, Double Damage, FLiP, Cpt.Luvlace, Rockets.

Arriving a couple of months off date, this is the new mixtape from the DJ duo Bandido$. After spending some weeks in jail for playing too loud at parties, B$ came out on parole and released this year’s fourth mixtape. After a great night in Houston – some pics here and here, and an interview for the supernice Kiyoshi Online – we’ve finally made it to NYC.

The Finger on the Pulse show with Justin Faust, Punches and VDRK at Public Assembly on Saturday was awesome! The rest of the time was spent in record stores, music gear shops, hanging around in Williamsburgh and Manhattan. This city in spring becomes even more beautiful. We can’t wait to return.

Next stop, Vegas!

Discotexas has finally arrived to Texas. Meet your maker! We were received with heartwarming hospitality, and played a great show at Mink. Thanks to everyone who came to see us!

No catastrophes today (yet). Heading to NYC now!!

Catastrophe Update: we were involved in a (small) car accident.

We’ve left home 48 hours ago, and since then, some facts:

One of our flights was cancelled and then reopened with no notification at all

A reservation for one of us wasn’t found

We managed to dodge Volcano Eyjafjallajokull’s wrath

Our UA907 flight from Munich to Chicago had to do an emergency landing in Heathrow, where we were informed that:

1. - One of the generators in the aircraft broke down, thus 3 hours of repair
2. - Someone in our airplane had a seizure, thus paramedic circus

We managed to get to Chicago in time of our show at Berlin Club, which we did (and by the way, it was great)

We had breakfast right after the show, and drove directly to the airport

One of us realized he had lost his passport, which made us loose the flight to Houston

There’s no beauty in pancakes with Corn Syrup

After some display of despair and sleep deprivation, we managed to seduce a ticket office clerk to rebook us on the next flight for free (see below)

We have a much bigger consideration for United Airlines (see above)

We like taco stands, but tacos don’t like us.

We can’t wait for Houston.

Our special guest for the Discotexas Titan Thursdays event for April is the one and only Breakbot, who right after the release of his Baby I’m Yours EP (which we love) on Ed Banger Records, will join Rockets and Cpt. Luvlace on the decks for what promises to be a hell of a party!
